How to add, use, and manage your LocalTab card on your phone — and what to do if something goes wrong.
Add your card to your phone
Open the registration link or QR code from your store on your phone, confirm your number, then tap Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet. Your card appears in your wallet, ready to use.
Use it at the register
At checkout, hold your phone near the store's reader — the same way you'd tap a transit or payment card. Your purchase goes onto your LocalTab account. There's no app to open.
Lost or stolen phone
Contact your store or email us right away. Your card can be revoked immediately and reissued to a new phone against the same account — your balance and history stay intact.
Remove your card
Apple Wallet: open the pass, tap the ••• button, then Remove Pass. Google Wallet: open the pass, tap the menu, then Delete. You can re-add it anytime from your store's link.
Card won't add or won't scan
Make sure NFC is turned on and your phone is up to date; brighten your screen if the cashier is scanning a code. Still stuck? Email us and we'll reissue a fresh card.
Switching to a new phone
Your pass usually moves automatically when you restore from a backup or sign in with the same Apple ID / Google account. If it didn't, ask your store to reissue your card to the new device — it takes seconds.

What is LocalTab?+
LocalTab is a house charge-account system for local convenience stores and small businesses. It lets your regular customers and staff run a tab, then bills them with automatic monthly statements. LocalTab does not process card payments.
How do customers use their card at the register?+
They tap their LocalTab card, key fob, or phone wallet pass on the store's reader. The purchase is added to their account, as long as it's within their credit limit.
How do I add my card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?+
Your store will give you a registration link or QR code. Open it on your phone, confirm your number, and add the pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. If you don't have a smartphone, ask your store for a physical card or fob — it works the same way.
My phone was lost or my card stopped working — what do I do?+
Contact your store, or email support@localtab.net. A lost card or pass can be revoked immediately and a new one issued against the same account.
Can I set spending limits for employees?+
Yes. Each employee account can have a weekly limit and payroll-deduction tracking, and each card can be restricted to specific stores.
How much does LocalTab cost?+
$69 per location, per month — flat. That includes unlimited accounts, digital and physical cards, gift cards, and automatic statements, with no per-transaction fees.
